Here is an introduction of the people in charge of each sector at the Industrial Technology Center. In addition, companies do not have to solve the various difficulties and technical problems on their own. Please depend on us for technical consultation. As of May 1st, 2015 there are 45 people in our staff.

 

  Administrators (4 people)

  Planning and General Affairs (General Affairs Division) (3 people)

  Planning and General Affairs (Planning Division)(3 people)

Planning and coordination of testing and research projects, industry-academia-government collaboration projects, website management, intellectual property, management of databases, collection and dissemination of technical information, book management

 Material Technicians (6 people)

The material technicians carry out research, testing, and analytics of environmental technologies, metals, inorganic materials, organic materials, and composite materials. The inorganic materials include functions of ceramics and materials using high temperatures and high pressures. In our work with environmental technologies, we conduct research on resource recycling technology.

 Machinery Technician (6 people)

The machine technicians primarily take care of technical issues related to products and parts manufacturing and the processing and design of machinery. We also conduct research on the development and design of new technology, processing and component technologies, and various sensing to transfer knowledge and provide technical guidance to local companies. In addition, we conduct performance evaluations of products and parts to measure size and shape. We are also available for consultations of various technical problems and trial.

 Electronic Technicians (5 people)

The electronic technicians mainly corresponds to the technical issues related to products and parts manufacturing, processing, and design of electronics. We also conduct research on the development of new technologies, light measurement technology, image processing technology, LED products to transfer knowledge and provide technical guidance to local companies. In addition, we conduct performance evaluations of products and parts to measure electrical and electromagnetic waves. We are also available for consultations of various technical problems. We are also able to provide support in electromagnetic noise, light measurement technology, electronic circuit design, and the reliability of electrical and electronic equipment.

  Life Sciences Section (5 people)

The Life Sciences Section is in charge of the research and technical assistance in the wood products industry, wood furniture manufacturing industry, the industry for tools used in the religious settings, support for design and development of new products, cutting, gluing, painting. We also conduct performance evaluations of finished products, utilize CG techniques for promotion, evaluate acoustic characteristics, study improvements and are also available for consultation. We also study the textile industry, dyeing technology, how to improve productivity of the apparel industry, performance evaluation for fiber products to support the industry.

  Food and Applied Biology (7 people)

We are in charge of processing technology, analysis and evaluation, and consultations concerning vegetables, research on marine products, and livestock to transfer knowledge and provide technical guidance to local companies. We are also working on research related to product development that takes advantage of unused resources. We are also responsible for testing and analysis, as well as technical consultations for chaffs and research on the processing and manufacturing of fermented food of fruits. Furthermore, we conduct research on chaffs, tofu, noodles, safety of confectioneries, research on manufacturing technology with an emphasis on quality improvement, quality evaluation technology, as well as clarify the taste and food allergies of these foods. In addition, we seek to understand product development that leverages the capabilities of useful microorganisms and conducted research on the effective use of agricultural products of unused biological resources to assistance local companies.

 　Weighing and Measuring Section (6 people)

The Weighing and Measuring Section is in charge and weighing tests based on Measurement Laws and work related to technology, such as measurement technology and measuring equipment.
